Mission
The Greenwood PTO provides a place for parents, teachers, and staff of Greenwood Elementary School to interact in support of the welfare and education of Greenwood students consistent with the philosophy
and academic standards of the school. We encourage and promote cooperation, understanding and communication
between home and school. The PTO sponsors fundraising activities to provide a benefit to Greenwood Elementary and
its students.

	Committee Chairs Needed for 2010 - 2011! Please check out the PTO's committee listing and consider filling one of the openings to chair a committee for Greenwood in 2010-2011. Check out the latest committee report for more information.

	The PTO is looking for your support of its annual fundraisers to help support enrichment programs for GW students throughout the school year. For more information click here to download the Fundraising Flyer.
	Green for Greenwood is our largest fundraising effort of the year. This direct giving campaign supports a variety of programs from visiting authors to field trips. Information regarding donations is sent home at the beginning of each school year. For more details, contact Lee Fulton at leefulton@comcast.net
	Important Notice regarding Electronic Communications: This year we will be piloting a new communication option to allow you to opt-in to electronic delivery of flyers from the school and/or Greenwood PTO. More information on this initiative is being sent to your home in late August. If you would prefer to receive your "flyer" communications from the school electronically, please send an e-mail to Donna Brown at dbrown0303@verizon.net with your child's name, your name, your e-mail address, and your child's teacher's name. Please be aware that you can change back to paper copies at anytime by contacting Donna Brown at dbrown0303@verizon.net. Just think of how many trees we can save by chosing electronic copies of the flyers!
